Namaste Dosto and welcome back to the Kapil Gupta Career Port Show. And I'm your host, Kapil Gupta. And today's episode is one of my favorites. Let's start with a fact that will blow your mind. Did you know that in India almost 45% of STEM graduates are women? Yes, you heard that right. Yet when we look at the global tech industry, women still make up only a small percentage of leadership roles. For years, technology was seen as a man's world, but let me tell you, this is changing and changing fast. India is entering a new digital revolution, and women are no longer just participating in it. They are leading it, shaping it, and owning it. In 2025, some of the most critical jobs in tech will have Indian women at the forefront. From artificial intelligence to cyber security, from product management to design, women are no longer asking for a seat at the table. They are building new tables all together. So in today's episode, we'll explore the five tech jobs that Indian women will own in 2025. Now this is not about token participation. This is about ownership, impact, and leadership. And whether you're a student, a young professional, or simply someone looking to get inspired, I promise you leave this episode with a new hope and a clear vision for your future. So hello all. Now this isn't just about studying abroad, it's about building clarity, confidence, and character. And I do it with coaching, mindset work, and game-changing part of grapotherapy because students deserve more than just guidance. They deserve transformation. So let's dive in. The first job we must talk about is in artificial intelligence and machine learning. AI is not just a buzzword anymore, it's the backbone of everything from chatbots to driverless cars, from digital banking to healthcare. In India, AI is projected to add over $500 billion to the economy by 2025. And now imagine the role women are going to play in this transformation. Indian women are already making their mark in data science, model training, and ethical AI. For example, let's take Aparna Dinakaran, the co-founder of Arise AI, who is making waves in responsible AI systems, or look closer home at women-led startups working on AI-driven healthcare solutions in Bengaluru and Hyderabad. What makes women powerful in AI is not just technical brilliance, it's empathy, ethics, and the ability to look at technology through a human lens. In the coming years, AI will not only need coders but also thinkers who can ensure fairness, inclusivity, and real world impact. And Indian women, with their academic strength and rising confidence, are perfectly placed to lead. So if you're a young woman listening to this, don't just consume AI tools. Learn how to build them. The world needs your perspective. Next on our list is one of the hottest fields today: cybersecurity. With digital payments, online shopping and remote work, cyber threats are at an all-time high. India alone faces thousands of cyber attacks every day. But here's the good news the demand for cybersecurity experts is rising faster than the supply. By 2025, India will need over 1 million cybersecurity professionals. And women are entering this field in large numbers, breaking stereotypes that hacking is a man's game. In fact, women are proving to be exceptional in cybersecurity because they bring patience, ethical thinking, and a unique perspective to problem solving. Government initiatives like Cyber Surakshet Bharat and corporate programs specifically encourage women to pursue ethical hacking. One inspiring story is Sakshi Saksana, a young Indian ethical hacker who has been recognized globally for reporting critical bugs in major companies. Now these stories remind us that cybersecurity is not just about coding, it's about defending nations, protecting companies, and saving individuals from digital fraud. In 2025, Indian women will be at the heart of the cyber army. And for those listening, remember your curiosity to explore how systems work could be your ticket to a thrilling career. Now let's move on to a role that combines leadership with technology. Product management. A product manager is like the captain of a ship. They understand customer needs, translate them into technical requirements, and work with engineers, designers, and markers to deliver solutions. In India's booming startup ecosystem, product managers are some of the most sought-after professionals. And guess what? Women are excelling here because they naturally bring collaboration, empathy, and long-term vision to the table. In fact, many unicorns in India already have women product managers leading some of their flagship products. Take the example of Anketa Vishistar, a successful entrepreneur and product leader who is also investing in women-led startups. Or consider the women at Flipkart and Zumato who are shaping products millions of Indians use daily. The truth is by 2025, product management will no longer be seen as a tech guy's role. Women will own this space not just by creating products, but by creating products that truly resonate with diverse users. And now let's talk about the creative side of tech, UX UI design. In a digital first India, design is not a luxury. It's the backbone of user experience. Now, whether it's a fintech app or an e-commerce website, the way users interact with technology defines its success. And women with their cultural insights and design sensibilities are taking the lead here. UX UI design is not just about pretty screens, it's about empathy, understanding user pain points, and creating solutions that are intuitive and inclusive. Women are excelling as human-centered technologists, shaping apps that work for elderly users, rural audiences, and even people with disabilities. And globally, women like Julie Zwao, former VP of product design at Facebook, have already shown the power of women in design. In India, more and more women designers are stepping up, building startups and freelancing for global clients. By 2025, Indian women will own this space, making technology not just functional but delightful. So if you're someone who loves art, psychology, and technology, this is your field. Remember, every pixel you design has the power to touch millions of lives. So now let's zoom out. The future of women in tech is not just about specific jobs, it's about leadership. Indian women are not only entering AI, cybersecurity, product management, and UX design, they are also leading companies building unicorns and inspiring the next generation. What makes 2025 special is that the conversation has shifted. Earlier, we used to talk about how to bring women into tech. Now we talk about how women are redefining tech itself. From coding classrooms in tier two cities to boardrooms of multinational corporations, women are everywhere. Not as tokens, but as torch bearers. For young listeners, the message is clear. Your gender is not your limitation, it's your strength. The tech world needs diversity of thought, empathy, and inclusion. And Indian women are poised to deliver exactly that. So as we wrap up today's episode, let me leave you with this thought. And who better to lead this future than Indian women who have already shown resilience, brilliance, and vision in every field. So if you're a young woman listening to this, I want you to believe in yourself. Don't limit your dreams to what society tells you. Dream big, dream bold, and step into the tech field with confidence. Because in 2025, these five roles AI specialists, cybersecurity experts, product managers, UX designers, and human-centered technologists will not just have women in them, they will have women owning them. So here's my challenge for you today. Take out your notebook and write down which of these five careers excite you the most. Then do one small action to explore it. If it's AI, sign up for a free Python or data science course. If it's cybersecurity, watch a YouTube video on ethical hacking. If it's product management, read about your favorite app and note what features you'd improve. And if it's design, sketch your dream app screen. Remember, greatness begins with small steps. And you, yes, you have everything it takes to own your future. So this is Kapil Gupta signing off from the Kapel Gupta Create Pot Show. Stay inspired, stay fearless, and always remember the future of tech is waiting for you, and it's brighter because of you.
